On the afternoon of January 18th, 2016, the Zhejiang Provincial Range Hood Products and the “I Check Your Choice†Household Gas Cooker Product Quality Comparison Results Sponsored by Zhejiang Gas Appliances and Kitchenware Industry Association in Hangzhou Zheshang Kaiyuan Mingdu Hotel was held. About 80 people from more than 70 representatives of the enterprises inspected, quality inspection agencies and news media attended the meeting. Shen Huaqing, Director of the Product Quality Supervision and Inspection Department of Zhejiang Quality and Technical Supervision Bureau, attended the meeting and delivered a speech.
The meeting was hosted by Yu Jin, Vice Chairman of Zhejiang Gas Appliances and Kitchenware Industry Association and Chairman of Zhejiang Xintao Electronic Machinery Co., Ltd. Shen Dankang, deputy director of the Mechanical Light Industry Testing Department of Zhejiang Institute of Quality Inspection Science and Technology, and Luo Danyi, a senior engineer of the Electrical Product Inspection Institute, respectively reported the results of the quality comparison test of the 2015 range hood and the “you choose my inspection†household gas stove.
According to Luo Danyi, according to the pre-established rules, enterprises participating in quality comparison must pass the product quality supervision and random inspection and voluntarily commit to participate. There are 46 enterprises in the province that meet the requirements. In order to find the gap between production and circulation, and between the province and the province, the market also purchased 9 batches of well-known brands in the province and 10 batches of well-known enterprises outside the province to participate in this quality comparison. The comparison items are 7 key indicators of air volume, wind pressure, noise, total pressure efficiency, standby power, shutdown power, and normal odor reduction. The results show that the products produced by mainstream enterprises in our province are of good quality, and the highest value of the seven indicators are better than the 10 well-known brands outside the province. The comprehensive performance can fully compete with well-known brands outside the province.
Deputy Director Shen Qikang introduced that this time, "I check your choice" gas cooker product quality comparison activities in the enterprise extracted 24 batches of gas cooker products from 24 enterprises in our province, the market backtrack (physical market, e-commerce platform) to buy samples 20 batches. Through the inspection of 44 batches of products, 39 batches were qualified, 5 batches were unqualified, and the batch failure rate was 11.36%. Among them, the production field failed 2 batches, the batch failure rate was 8.3%; the watershed field failed 3 batches, and the batch failure rate was 15.0%. The unqualified items are concentrated on the signs, installation instructions, packaging, structure, and carbon monoxide concentration in dry flue gas.
In order to accurately and objectively evaluate the quality level of household gas cookers in our province, and to find the gap or advantage of the quality of domestic gas cookers in and outside the province, the quality comparison of 39 batches of domestic gas cooker products qualified in this sampling inspection was carried out. The comparison mainly selects six main performance indicators that consumers are most concerned about, most worried about, and closely related to safety. Among them, there are 3 quality comparison projects, which are the flameout protection valve opening time, thermal efficiency, and plug valve life. There are three consumer guidance projects, namely the maximum fire measuring heat load, the rated heat load accuracy, the stove surface and the pot support load test. Among them, the life of the plug valve project exceeded the national standard and the ultimate life test was carried out.
Through the comparison of product quality, the comprehensive index test data of Zhejiang range hoods and gas cookers have reached the domestic leading level. According to the comparison data, the association commended 13 home gas stoves and other outstanding enterprises such as Ningbo Fangtai Kitchenware Co., Ltd., and 11 hood enterprises such as Hangzhou Boss Electric Co., Ltd. Zheng Weimei, Director of the Kitchenware Department of Ningbo Fangtai Kitchenware Co., Ltd. and Zheng Wei, Deputy Director of Marketing of Hangzhou Boss Electric Co., Ltd. respectively gave speeches on product development and quality management, and shared the typical experience of the winning companies.
Gu Hang, deputy dean of the Zhejiang Institute of Quality Inspection Science, made a speech. He said that although the two sources are different, the goal is common. It is to promote product quality improvement, identify gaps, and let consumers clearly understand consumption. From the results, our province's brand has advantages over other provinces, but there are also places that are inferior to foreign countries, reflecting the level of our province and playing a positive role in leading Zhejiang manufacturing, enabling enterprises to recognize their own strength and promote product upgrading.
Director Shen Huaqing of the Supervision and Inspection Department of Zhejiang Quality and Technical Supervision Bureau made an important speech at the meeting. He believes that the quality of this kind of supervision mode has a "forced" effect on the quality improvement of enterprises, has a positive "leading" effect on the industry, and has a "choice" comparability to consumption. Enterprises should move toward flat management operations, employee creation, consumer customization, and personalized product production models. The testing organization should set a good standard from the characteristic index and the characteristic index, scientifically formulate the supervision and spot check system, evaluate the rules, and constantly change the current status and improve the quality through the quality comparison method.
