Home washing machine sales fell slightly in the first quarter

According to the "2013 China Industry Research Analysis Report," it shows that the production and sales of washing machines are less affected by holiday factors. In the first quarter, production and sales maintained a low-speed positive growth, while sales revenue growth rate dropped slightly. From January to March 2013, the total output of household washing machines reached 16,001,100 units, an increase of 7.73% year-on-year, and the growth rate increased by 9.62% compared with the same period of last year; the sanitary appliances manufacturing industry realized sales revenue of RMB26.656 billion, an increase of 14.95% over the same period of last year. The rate of increase was 7.65 percentage points higher than the same period of last year.

The same as the refrigerator market, the number of washing machines is already close to the demand for "ceilings." The future market development will depend on technological progress to promote the increase in the market share of highly efficient energy-saving washing machines, forming a new round of upgrading demand. As of December 2012, the market share of Washing Machine Washers was 57.87%, a decrease of 2.24 percentage points from the same period of last year.
