In order to achieve energy-saving and emission reduction, Zhong'an has taken the lead in launching the city's green lighting project nationwide. Since this year, 17 cities in the province will gradually carry out green lighting transformation.

At the end of last year, the leading group for energy-saving and emission reduction of Zhong'an signed a framework agreement with Anhui Energy Saving Investment Co., Ltd. According to the agreement, the latter will carry out urban green lighting renovations in 17 cities across the province. After the Copenhagen conference, it became the first province in the country to carry out unified energy-saving actions in the province's urban green lighting. Anhui China Energy officially obtained a loan of RMB 2 billion from the bank. In the later period, it will use the contract energy management model to transform the street lighting green lighting.

The energy conservation and emission reduction promotion association of Zhong'an said that preliminary estimates indicate that this green lighting renovation project can save 60% of electricity, save electricity expenses by about 500 million yuan each year, reduce CO2 emissions by 710,000 tons, and reduce the standard coal consumption by about 30 per year.
