The market research organization Sano has recently released the "2013 Q1 Mobile Phone Security Market Status and Trends" research report, which has carried out statistics on the overall domestic 3G mobile phone market, the realization of various standard markets, and the market performance of products at different price points.
In the first quarter of this year, China's mobile phone sales rose sharply, reaching 91.9 million, of which the proportion of 3G mobile phones reached 84.9%. Among them, the market share of TD-SCDMA3G mobile phone terminals increased significantly, rising to 36.8%, which severely squeezed the WCDMA terminal market.

In terms of performance in the price segment, the market share in the range of 400-700 yuan continued to grow, reaching 26.2%; the market share of 1500-2000 yuan continued to shrink, falling to 7.9%.

According to Sino research data, in the performance of China ’s terminal market in Q1 2013, the strength of international brands declined; domestic brands increased in the top 10 rankings of 3G smartphones, while Nokia can only occupy a place in the overall market.
