Huawei Ascend 910
The theme of Huawei's Full Connect Conference 2018 is "+Intelligence Seeing the Future", which mainly focuses on artificial intelligence technology. So, how strong are the two AI chips released by Huawei? The half-precision computing power of Huawei Ascend 910, which has the highest single-chip computing density, reaches 256 TFLOPs, which is twice as high as 125 TFLOPs of the current strongest NVIDIA V100! The Shengteng 910 adopts TSMC's 7nm process and has a maximum power consumption of only 350W.
Huawei Ascend 310
Huawei Shengteng 310 is the main terminal low-power AI scene, with 8 TFLOPs half-precision computing power, the maximum power consumption is only 8W, and it is manufactured using TSMC's 12nm process. Both AI chips use Huawei's self-developed Da Vinci AI architecture. Among them, Shengteng 310 has been mass-produced, and Shengteng 910 will be mass-produced in the second quarter of next year. In 2019, Huawei will also launch three AI chips, all of which belong to the Shengteng series. At the same time, Huawei will provide AI cloud services based on the Shengteng series of AI chips.
