NVIDIA has just officially released the GeForce GTX 1060, a new generation of mainstream graphics cards, but today it is only released on paper. There is no performance evaluation for the time being, and it has to be listed.
The GTX 1060 uses a heat sink similar to the GTX 1080/1070 style. It is very long and powerful, but the PCB is very short. If you want to know what the GTX 1060 looks like inside, look at the disassembly diagram together:
The core number GP106-400-A1 is significantly smaller than the GP104. Six memory particles were welded around, but there are still two leftover positions. Does it actually support 8GB? May be used for Quadro professional cards? unknown.
The DVI interface circuit part has a complete shield and is very conscience.
The core power supply design is 3+1 phase, very common. The six-pin auxiliary power supply interface is not directly designed on the PCB circuit board, but is extended to the rear of the radiator by the "flying line". It is really pretty, and it is troublesome to modify the radiator.
However, cards such as the GTX 1060 are basically non-public in the market. Either the PCB is lengthened or the heatsink is shortened. It is not necessary to design the power supply interface.
Conical pole is a rod that tapers toward the top, similar to a cone. These poles are commonly used for street lighting and power delivery. The cone shape helps distribute weight evenly and provides stability in windy conditions.
