Detailed operation steps of inverter pre-charging electrical engineering

1. The key is to look at the model of the rectifier in the front stage of your inverter to see if it is controlled rectifier. If it is controlled rectification, it is not necessary to add a pre-charging circuit, and it can be pre-charged directly with the 6SE70 rectifier; if it is uncontrolled, it needs to be pre-charged.

2. If it is an external pre-charging circuit, when charging, you need to disconnect the power module of the inverter itself to the DC bus. Look at your DC bus near there, there are several quick-melt extractables, and you can extract these fast melts.

3. If a pre-charging circuit is applied, the pre-charge rectifier is passed through the current limiting resistor and then connected to the DC bus to charge it.

4. If it is pre-charged with a controlled rectifier, the specific steps are as follows -

- The rectifier unit must be in operation

°009 or smaller (given the opening!)

- Set P408 (Charging time: 1.0 to 600min)

- Selected function (P052=20)

- Press the P button on the PMU

- Press the I key on the PMU to close the switch

- Charge the intermediate circuit

- Jump to the running status display when charging is finished, and finally: r < °009, waiting for operation.

5, you can also take the following way to pre-charge -

If the drive is idle for too long, the DC link capacitor must be charged according to the operating instructions before use.

The storage time must be calculated from the date of manufacture and not from the date of delivery. The date of manufacture is indicated in the serial number of the inverter. For specific information, please refer to the document: 7016746

The operating principles are as follows:

Storage time is less than 1 year:

No charging operation is required.

Storage time 1 - 2 years:

The drive must be powered on for 1 hour before the first ON command.

Storage time 2 - 3 years:

Use the voltage regulator to charge the inverter:

Add 25% of rated voltage for 30 minutes, then

Add 50% of rated voltage for 30 minutes, then

Add 75% rated voltage for 30 minutes, last

Add 100% rated voltage for 30 minutes.

Storage time is greater than 3 years:

Use the voltage regulator to charge the inverter:

Add 25% of rated voltage for 2 hours, then

Add 50% rated voltage for 2 hours, then

Add 75% rated voltage for 2 hours, last

Add 100% rated voltage for 2 hours.
