FRANKFURT (CNFIN.COM/XINHUA08.COM) - A spokesperson for the German lighting giant Osram said recently that the German Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs has issued a "no-hazard certificate" to the Chinese consortium's acquisition of Osram's independent lighting brand, Rand Vans.
According to German media reports, a spokesperson for the German Ministry of Economic Affairs said that the issuance of the “no-harm certificate†meant that the German government did not find any clues that might harm German public order and security during the review of the merger.
At the end of July last year, the supervisory board of Osram approved the Chinese consortium to acquire the Landdevs case. The transaction price of the merger exceeds 400 million euros. The Chinese consortium is mainly composed of IDG Capital, Mulinsen Lighting Company as a strategic investor, and Yiwu City State-owned Capital Operation Center as a financial investor.
Some analysts pointed out that the "no-harm certificate" does not mean that both parties can rest easy. In October last year, the German Ministry of Economic Affairs made a reversal, canceled the “no-harm certificate†issued by the China Fujian Hongxin Fund and acquired the German Ai Siqiang Company, and restarted the review process.
In 2015, OSRAM divested and reorganized its general business segment's general lighting business, and in July 2016 officially established Landvewans as an independent brand operation of OSRAM's general lighting business.
Solar Charge Controller
A Comprehensive Guide to Selecting Your Solar Charge Controller
A solar charge controller stands as a pivotal component in the architecture of any solar power system. It precisely regulates the flow of power from your solar panels to the batteries, safeguarding against overcharging and ultimately enhancing battery longevity. These controllers play a key role in maximizing energy capture through advanced Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) techniques, ensuring your solar setup, be it for a cozy cabin or a grand solar project, operates at peak efficiency and reliability.
When delving into the realm of solar charge controllers, you’re met with a spectrum of options, from the straightforward PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) models to the more sophisticated MPPT units, each designed to cater to specific solar applications. Selecting the perfect Solar Controller involves weighing several crucial factors, including voltage compatibility, amperage capacity, and the presence of additional functionalities that could enhance the controller's efficiency and user experience.
Notably, Solar Controller 12V units are among the commonly sought-after categories, suitable for smaller or entry-level solar systems. These controllers are identified by their voltage (12V, 24V, etc.) and amperage rating, which dictates the maximum current they are designed to manage. The choice between PWM and MPPT charging algorithms also plays a significant part, with PWM being the more basic option and MPPT offering enhanced efficiency through optimal power point tracking.
Features like LCD displays for real-time monitoring, temperature compensation for precise charging regardless of environmental conditions, and compatibility with various battery types, significantly contribute to the controllers' performance and operational ease.
By effectively administering the power flow between solar panels and batteries, solar charge controllers are indispensable for optimal energy utilization and safeguarding system integrity. An investment in a high-quality Solar Controller—be it a Solar Controller 12V for more compact setups or a higher voltage variant for extensive systems—is crucial for the sustained success and reliability of your solar power endeavors
