Tencent digital hearing (Eskimo) although the "Pokémon Go" is the first official wearable devices as well as several weeks before the official release, but this did not prevent developers to port it to other wearable devices footsteps above. According to media reports, Patrick Cho, an Intel developer, recently succeeded in porting Pokémon Go to his company's augmented reality glasses.
At this week's Developer Forum, Intel demonstrated the effect of "Princess Pokemon Go" on its own Recon Jet smart glasses. This pair of glasses is mainly for riding and running enthusiasts, the system is a customized version of Android. This also allowed Cho to migrate the game to his device.
However, it is worth noting that this migration is more of a proof of concept, rather than a work that is really intended for users. Since Recon Jet does not support cellular networks, this is undoubtedly very limited for games like Pokémon Go that require mobile networks. In addition, the port version shown by Intel is functionally very basic, although it is possible to view the map. Users cannot access stores, capture elf, or play against other players.
Although it is a pilot project, the Augmented Reality version of "Princess Goco Go" is indeed an interesting demonstration, which allows us to see the possibility of this game being ported to other platforms. Taking into account the experience of developer Niantic's development of Google Glass, as well as hints about the introduction of the HoloLens version of "Princess Go Go," we are still very much looking forward to the launch of the Augmented Reality version of "Princess Goco".
