In terms of 'line', the Internet of Vehicles will contribute to driving safety. Promoting cars will also become the next big market for the Internet of Things."
Specific to the wearable market, according to IDC's 2016 third quarter wearable device market tracking report, the Q3 wearable device market in 2016 is generally growing. The shipment of wearable devices totaled 23 million units in the quarter, a year-on-year increase. 3.1%. The big difference is that sales of smart wearable devices that support third-party applications, such as Apple Watch, continue to slump in Q3, and IDC expects this trend to continue in the short term.

What are the two major directions for wearable products?Manager Xia said: "Before the wearable market, the focus is too biased towards the realization of the communication function and the aesthetics of the operation interface. It seems to be equipped with half of the mobile phone on the arm. The success of the wearable product requires the function that the smartphone cannot replace. Therefore, the choice of direction is very important. Our customers have failed because of the wrong choice of products. I think that monitoring sports for young adults is a good product development direction for health care wear products for the elderly."
In terms of health monitoring products, some of the current products are not accurate enough to be detected by algorithms, so they have not been well applied. In terms of heart rate monitoring, there are mainly photoelectric and reflective types, and the new Japanese wireless solution uses photoelectric type.
Although sensors used in wearable products have been around for a long time, they have not been well applied because they have not been miniaturized. Nippon Wireless's photoelectric heart rate sensor realizes the function by detecting and monitoring the change of green light. Xia Manager said: "The heart rate is green light, mainly because green light is sensitive to the absorption of arterial oxygen."
In-ear heart rate detection Although the current product is still relatively small, but Xia Manager believes that it is more useful for athletes, and the accuracy is higher. New Japan Wireless currently cooperates with Philips to provide in-ear heart rate detection. Nippon Wireless's wrist heart rate products include the NJL5304R with photosensors (PTr) and two green LED photosensors, and the photosensor NJL5311R with optical filter photodiode (PD) and two green LEDs.
At present, the homogenization of domestic wearable products is serious, which has triggered a fierce price war. Manager Xia said: "At present, domestic manufacturers generally pursue low-cost hardware solutions, and do not choose relatively expensive solutions for performance improvement. Take the wristband or watch with heart rate test, the products of domestic manufacturers can really Under dynamic conditions, the measurement is very rare. The MIO and GARMIN watches are perfect in sports and health monitoring, and the sales volume is also increasing. How to develop high-performance products for customers with actual needs is the current domestic manufacturer. There is an urgent problem to be solved."
In terms of performance, there is still room for improvement in continuous work. Today's wearable devices have short working hours, and repeated charging reduces both the service life and the monitoring of health data. The ideal wearable health monitoring is expected to continue to be used 24 hours a day to obtain an all-day health status change index. This can improve eating habits, work efficiency, fitness effects, sleep quality, and more.
In addition, there is another problem that positioning, the GPS signal of the wearable product needs to be amplified, filtered, etc., so the use of a dedicated product is better.
