At the World Expo in Japan, Sharp displayed two interesting display technology inventions, which indicates that the brand-new design concept of mobile VR and smart phones is not far behind us. The most notable feature is Sharp's display prototype, designed for VR helmets, with a display density of up to 1000ppi. As we all know, the highest smartphone screen resolution on the market so far is about 584ppi.
Sharp's high-resolution screen solution offers the potential for double-definition clarity. Of course, such high-density screens are intended to be meaningful in certain special situations, such as the case where the screen of a VR helmet is small and close to the user's eyes. To reduce the user experience at such a close distance in order to eliminate the grainy pixels, high-density pixels are necessary. Sharp's high score screen is very sharp, sharp and unspeakable, and integrates 2160 x 1920 pixels in a 2.87-inch screen.
At the same time, Sharp also showed a smart phone without a border, whose body is covered by the front display panel, which means that the front is full of screens. The mobile phone's screen and tempered glass cover the entire fuselage, with an arc-shaped transition at the edges, and the overall appearance of a frameless design makes it attractive. However, we do not yet know when Sharp will bring this technology to market and whether Sharp will be the first smartphone manufacturer to do so.
