LED lamps gradually occupy the current market of electric lamps due to their high brightness, low energy consumption and long life. In general, LED lights are difficult to have problems. In the problem of LED lights, there are three problems: the lights are not bright, the lights are dimmed, and the lights are blinking after turning off the lights. Today we will analyze each problem one by one.
LED light structure
LED lights come in two forms, one is a ceiling light and the other is a light bulb. Regardless of the type of lamp, the internal structure is the same, divided into a lamp bead and a driver.
Lamp beads
Open the outer casing of the ceiling lamp or the white plastic part of the bulb and you can see that there is a circuit board covered with a yellow rectangle inside. The yellow color on this board is the lamp bead. The lamp bead is the illuminant of the LED lamp, and the number thereof determines the brightness of the LED lamp.
driver
The LED bulb driver is mounted on the bottom and is not visible on the outside. The driver for the ceiling light is a black box that requires the driver to be installed first when installing the fixture.
The driver has constant current, buck, rectification, filtering and other functions.
LED light is not bright solution
When the light is off, you should first make sure that the circuit is ok. If it is a new light, use an electric pen to measure, or install an incandescent lamp to see if there is voltage in the circuit. After confirming that the circuit is ok, you can start the following troubleshooting.
Drive problem
The lights are not lit, and it is a problem with the drive. Light-emitting diodes have high requirements on current and voltage. If the current and voltage are too large or too small, they cannot be normally lit. Therefore, constant-current drivers, rectifiers, and bucks in the driver are required to maintain their use.
If the lamp is not lit after turning on the light, the first thing to consider is the problem with the drive. You can now purchase a new drive for replacement.
LED light brightness darkening solution
This problem should be solved together with the previous question. This may be the case if the brightness of the light is dim or off.
Lamp problem
The lamp beads of the LED lamp are divided into a series of strings, and the lamp beads on each string are connected in series, and the strings are connected in parallel.
Therefore, if a lamp bead burns on this string, it will cause the string of lights to be off. If each string has a lamp bead burned, it will cause the entire lamp to not light up. If there is a bead burned in each string, consider the capacitor or resistor on the drive.
The burnt lamp bead and the normal lamp bead can be seen from the appearance. The burnt lamp bead has a black dot in the middle, and the dot can not be wiped off.
Burned lamp beads in the red circle
If the number of burnt lamp beads is small, the two soldering feet behind the burnt lamp bead can be soldered together with a soldering iron. If the number of burned lamp beads is too much, it is recommended to buy a lamp bead to replace it, so as not to affect the brightness of the lighting.
Solution for blinking after the LED is turned off
After the lamp turns off, it flashes. First, confirm the line problem. The most likely problem is the zero line of the switch control. In this case, it is necessary to correct it in time to avoid danger. The correct way is to switch the control line and the zero line to receive the light.
If there is no problem with the circuit, it is possible that the LED lamp generates a self-inductive current. The easiest way is to buy a 220V relay and connect the coil to the lamp in series. For specific reasons, please see our previous article: The solution to flashing after the lights are turned off by household lights.
