Chen Yansheng: At present, companies that do traditional lighting are all doing LED lighting. Some powerful companies have already developed products that are sold in the market, and some are undergoing research and development. Smaller companies and companies with weaker capabilities are planning and preparing for LED products. It should be said that as long as we are preparing to engage in the R&D and production enterprises of the lighting industry for a long time, we are basically involved in this area. There are an estimated 100 or more in quantity.

Reporter: How do you see the trend of penetration of semiconductor lighting into the traditional lighting sector, and how do traditional lighting companies respond to competition among semiconductor lighting companies?

Chen Yansheng: Many LED companies have entered the lighting field. I think it is a good thing. Traditional lighting companies are also in a simultaneous transformation, and they are also producing LED lighting products while producing traditional lighting products. Ultimately in the market will form a fair competition with semiconductor lighting companies. It can also be predicted that the competition in the lighting market will become more intense in the future.

Chen Yansheng: Regardless of whether it can be seen from the forum or the exhibition, compared with last year, many companies doing LED lighting applications this year began to pay more attention to indoor lighting. In the past, many companies focused on LED street lights. Many companies are developing indoor lighting products this year. At the same time, they focus on analyzing the indoor lighting product market. They are developing different products for different market segments and different application fields, and are also analyzing some potential markets for future indoor lighting. This should be said to be an improvement.

Reporter: Now that LED interior lighting is more concerned, what do you think is the most important indicator in this field?

Chen Yansheng: From the indicators of concern for lighting products, we can see progress. In the first two years, the focus of everyone’s attention was on light efficiency, namely, lumens per watt. Now everyone has a more in-depth understanding of lighting, more emphasis on color, reliability, longevity and other indicators. There are many requirements for lighting, not only the luminous efficiency requirements per watt of lumens, but also different requirements on different occasions. At the same time, there are many standards for lighting. When companies develop products to face the market, they must first fully understand and understand the existing standards in the field in which the products are located in order to do a good job.

Reporter: Indoor lighting is optimistic about the industry. Do you think that for LED companies, how should they enter the field of indoor lighting? Which products can be started first?

Chen Yansheng: Lighting products can be said to be ubiquitous. There are both public and professional applications, such as aircraft applications, civil ship application lamps, etc. Each company has its own market, familiar areas, and its own market. Future judgments need to be determined by combining the advantages of the company itself.

From the point of view of indoor lighting products, there are currently more alternative products, such as bulbs. Followed by spotlights, there is a downlight, lighting is relatively strong, more suitable for LED, these types of products currently used more.

Third, the marketing needs a clear positioning Reporter: At present, many places are ready to build some LED procurement centers, some similar to shopping malls, how do you view this phenomenon?

Chen Yansheng: As far as I know, the current procurement centers are basically B2C. In fact, companies must face the market and application products must face end users. The procurement center mainly depends on the market. The larger and more mature the market, I think the more meaningful the procurement center. The market size is still not large enough, and it is still not mature enough. However, it is not a bad idea for some market players to take the lead. However, the market has gradually formed and gradually expanded its scale. Each market is also different in positioning and facing target customers. Not the same, I think it should be treated differently and it needs to have its own position.

In general, the lighting products face different customers in the market. I think we should face the market. Enterprises must have the market demand products. There are many professional customers in the professional market. If it is similar to the marketing of mass consumer products, it is unnecessary and wastes resources. There are professional practices in the professional market. At present, each company has a different approach, either as a distributor or an agent.

Fourth, the semiconductor lighting industry investment needs a bit more scientific, reducing blindness Reporter: A recent topic in the industry is whether the semiconductor lighting industry investment overheating, how do you treat this?

Chen Yansheng: At present, people are optimistic about whether the industry is overheated or not. Looking at this year, many companies are gradually deepening their understanding of lighting and their blindness is decreasing. Now many investments come from private capital, which is willing to invest in industries with promising prospects. For manufacturers and investors, we must seriously understand and analyze this market, and we must carry out scientific and reasonable analysis of future development trends. Scientifically reduce blindness. Investment will generate benefits and inevitable risks. How to minimize risks and make investments more efficient is what investors should consider. I also hope that the industry can be less overheated.

In addition, the heat of investment is hard to use and not well understood. I think we need to look at the use of investment, not buying land, building a factory, and buying equipment to produce high-quality products. Compared with hard investments such as factories and equipment, the industry now needs more soft investment in talents and technology, and the industry needs corresponding high-level talents. It can be seen that some large foreign companies have a large R&D team and pay great attention to R&D. In contrast, domestic investment in research, development, talent cultivation, and other aspects of soft power is far from enough.
