The SFH 4730 is different from the SFH 4740 in terms of the frame of the infrared LED chip package surface. The SFH 4730 uses a black material to suppress the reflection of infrared light. Therefore, it can be used in combination with a collecting lens or the like. The SFH 4740 uses a white material, which is easy to produce light reflection on the surface of the package, but can achieve a higher optical output power of 3.6W than the SFH 4730.
