AMD will release its first 28nm GPU on December 6

The German website Heise Online received industry news that AMD is expected to release its first 28nm process graphics core between December 6-9.

However, the source did not indicate whether the GPUs AMD will release are the new Radeon HD 7000 series or the old Radeon HD 6000 series only for the 28nm process. The previous AMD has already demonstrated the “Southern Islands” notebook graphics on several occasions. More likely is the former, the official debut of the new generation of graphics cards.

However, since TSMC's 28nm wafer production capacity in the fourth quarter was only 7000-10000 wafers, and this part of the production capacity was also shared by Apple, NVIDIA and AMD, NVIDIA and AMD's next-generation graphics cards are likely to be published on paper, presumably.
