Abstract: What is green lighting? There is no consensus at present. Therefore, this paper first defines the basic principle of green lighting as energy saving and meets the standard, and then on the basis of current lighting, proposes new technologies and new concepts such as illuminance compliance indicator, reference intelligent dimmer and its reading and writing area, aiming to form A new generation of lighting fixtures with the basic characteristics of "illumination level indication function + reference intelligent dimming function".
I. Problems raised <br> Electrical lighting For more than 100 years, the predecessors have made significant progress in research on the principle of illumination, luminescent materials, working frequency of light sources and their production processes, and have achieved today's brilliance. However, from the basic principles of green lighting, there are some common and neglected problems in current lighting fixtures. This project only explores four points, in order to form a new generation of lighting fixtures that meet the basic principles of green lighting - energy saving and compliance. Here is a brief analysis.
1 Light source aging problem. Is your learning environment illuminating? In fact, from the physical point of view, any (small-power cold/hot) light source produced by any material or any process during the lighting process will age for a long time and the brightness will decrease. Therefore, any luminaire, even if the illuminance is up to standard at the factory, it is impossible to reach the standard after using the illuminance for a long time, even though the lamp is not bad. This incurs the user to learn in an environment where the lights are not bad and the illumination is not up to standard. How can this not cause excessive fatigue of the visual nerves, low learning efficiency, deeper myopia or myopia! It can be seen that it is not enough to solve the problem of aging of the light source only from the aspects of light source materials and processes. To this end, we have also proposed the "learning environment illuminance compliance indicator + reference intelligent dimmer" from the perspective of luminaire circuit design: that is, during the illumination process, the illuminance compliance indicator always monitors and prompts the learning environment ( That is, the synthetic illuminance of the natural lighting environment + artificial lighting environment complies with the GB/CIE lighting standard, so that the luminaire in the illumination process, in the sense of illuminance compliance, always conforms to the basic principle of green lighting - energy saving and compliance, avoiding The illuminance does not meet the standard of myopia caused by myopia.
2 Read and write area issues. In the study table lamp involving thousands of households, the illuminance of the table lamp before the acceptance of this group of patents is small, about 35cm × 30cm, the middle of the workbook, the illuminance on the next book is not up to standard. To this end, the project defines the reading and writing area (RW) of the desk lamp as: a rectangular area about 50cm × 42cm in front of the desk lamp, in which the illuminance should meet the GB or CIE lighting standards, avoiding the illumination on the adjacent books. 3 lens aging problem. Why is the degree of wearing glasses getting deeper and deeper? I have consulted ophthalmologists many times. The answer is “more glasses.†In fact, from the physical point of view, any lens will naturally age after a long time. The longer the time, the more severe the aging, the lower the light transmittance, the effect The less luminous flux on the macula of the eyeball, the instinct of reading and writing is instinctive, and the degree of myopia is deepened. To this end, we proposed: "illuminance compliance indicator + reference intelligent proximity dimmer", designed to achieve the standard of illumination, when the head is less than the standard reading and writing distance of 30cm, the lamp source is intelligently brightened. In order to compensate for the reduction of the luminous flux acting on the macula of the eye caused by the natural aging of the lens, it is possible to avoid the myopia deepening caused by the aging of the lens and the reluctance to spend more glasses.
4 Matching problems between lighting and ambient brightness. Looking at our classrooms and offices, we can see that the environment near the windows is brighter and darker than the windows. Therefore, in order to meet the basic principle of green lighting - energy saving and compliance, the light near the window should be darker; away from the window, it should be brighter, that is, the lighting and ambient brightness should match each other. However, the reality is: the national, global classrooms, laboratories, reading rooms, reading halls, offices, shopping malls, streets, highways, the lighting and the brightness of the environment match? Or not matching or matching too bad! To this end, we propose a benchmark intelligent dimming method: that is, based on the GB/CIE lighting standard, if the ambient illuminance of the environment + light is greater than the GB/CIE lighting standard, the brightness of the light is reduced without power consumption so that the synthetic illuminance is consistent. GB/CIE lighting standard; on the contrary, the brightness of the light is increased without power consumption, so that the synthetic illumination meets the GB/CIE lighting standard, and the adjustment range is 2% to 100% of the lamp power, so that the illumination and the ambient brightness are illuminated. In the standard sense, it always matches, so the benchmark intelligent dimming technology is also called the benchmark intelligent lighting-environment brightness matching technology. The benchmark intelligent dimming method proposed by us basically adjusts the brightness of the lamp power by maximizing the ambient brightness around each lamp under the premise of lighting compliance, so it is about 15% to 30% more energy-efficient than similar lamps. The lamp life is extended by at least 30%, and the color rendering coefficient is higher, which is in line with the basic principle of green lighting.
In summary, based on the above four concepts and their corresponding three patents, a new generation of lighting fixtures with the basic features of illuminance compliance indication + reference intelligent dimming function can be formed, thereby overcoming the inability of current lighting fixtures to overcome. The above four common and neglected problems make it conform to the basic principles of green lighting and save energy and meet the standard while extending the life of the lamp.
Second, the performance of the prototype project Introduction <br> this project can be used for all standard and in need of green illumination lighting applications, such as shopping malls, offices, classrooms, laboratories, libraries, reading rooms, street lights, solar lights, and so on. The three performance prototypes we have made: the learning environment illuminance compliance indicator (black), the benchmark intelligent dimming learning desk lamp, and the benchmark intelligent proximity dimming learning desk lamp, just to verify the rationality of the above four concepts and their corresponding three The feasibility of the patent. 2. About our work.
